Laboratory personnel should read the experimental instructions carefully before operating the all-steel fume hood and be familiar with the operating procedures and operating details to avoid major errors or accidents during experimental operations. Experimenters should be familiar with the performance of the instrument and its correct operation method, and prepare the equipment and consumable materials for the experiment. Wash your hands with detergent before starting and after finishing the experiment.

      Before the experiment begins, the experimenter must put on a clean lab coat. If he has long hair, he must tie it up. He should be neatly dressed at all times during the operation. If necessary, he should wear specific clothes, gloves, work caps and shoe covers. Check whether the ventilation system and face air velocity are normal.

       All steel fume hoodWhen using instruments and equipment inside, the instruments and equipment should be placed as far away from the rear of the fume hood as possible, at least about 20cm away from the front observation window in the cabinet to ensure safety and achieve proper operation. Instruments or materials inside the cabinet should be prevented from blocking the exhaust vents of the gas deflector behind the fume hood.

        When using large instruments in a cabinet, the instruments should be placed on a stand to allow air to flow under the all-steel fume hood. Do not place electrical equipment or other sources of heat in the fume hood or near heat sources when flammable liquids or gases are present. This prevents liquids with low flash points from igniting.
